Casto Solano’s sculpture, The Living Fraser River, is inspired by the dynamic nature of the river, seeing it as a link between the four elements. Located in Fraser Heights, the marine grade stainless steel structure illuminates with various colours at night. With over two decades of global experience in public art and sculpture, Solano’s portfolio includes diverse works, from streets to renowned sites like the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Frequently exploring concepts of time and space, his creations aim to foster unity and connection within communities.
