June 21 Tuesday National Indigenous Peoples Day Holland Park Make your way to Holland Park and join us in celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21. Hosted by Surrey's local land-based communities, Semiahmoo First Nation, Kwantlen First Nation, and Katzie First Nation, this event features cultural performances and programming, showcasing the rich cultural history and traditions of our Indigenous people. July 23 Saturday Cooking Showdown Holland Park Do you believe you have what it takes to be the Cooking Showdown champion? Register yourself and a team of 3-5 to compete at the Fusion Festival.You and your team will be competing in a head-to-head event versing other participants. Will you leave the Cooking Arena victorious? August 24 Wednesday Tree Sale surrey.ca/treesale Surrey Parks hosts tree sales to offer quality trees at an affordable price to Surrey residents. Buy trees for $20 each to help grow Surrey’s urban forest. Starting August 24, purchase your trees online then pick them up from the Surrey Operations Centre in September. Check online for the pick up date. Inventory is limited.
