Get outdoors and enjoy nature this summer. From taking a walk on one of our many nature trails, volunteering to help the environment, or visiting a feature or display garden, there is something for everyone to do in Surrey parks. Our parks are waiting to be explored! NEW PARKS We are continually working to ensure our parks and trails are well-designed and maintained to meet the needs of our growing community. This includes the creation of new parks, as well as the improvement of existing parks. Check out one of these recently opened parks this spring: EDGEWOOD PARK 2284 165 Street This new neighborhood park features a brand new playground, a wide open grassy area, and paths throughout.

Care for Our Urban Forest Surrey’s urban forest has over 80,000 street trees and 3,800 acres of natural areas. At over 175 hectares, Colebrook Park is a huge natural area park on the slope overlooking Mud Bay. Here you’ll find lots of wildlife, birds, trees and streams.

HELP KEEP YOUR PARKS CLEAN & BEAUTIFUL When you visit a Surrey park, make sure you pack out all of your waste. This includes food wrappers, scraps, and packaging, including take-out containers and pizza boxes. Make sure to Pack It In, Pack it Out!

Check out the new rubber volleyball court at Kabaddi Park!You’ll also find a multi- purpose playing field, a picnic shelter and a walking loop.
