Surrey Art Gallery Lead Inspiring Art Tours for Children— Become a Surrey Art Gallery Docent! Surrey Art Gallery is seeking art enthusiasts
interested in volunteering to lead exciting weekday school group tours of its art exhibitions, through discussion and hands-on activities. New docents are supported through a program of study investigating contemporary art, education theory, and touring. They will also observe and assist with tours prior to leading these independently and will learn under mentors’ guidance. It is a rewarding role for those who enjoy working with children and learning about contemporary art, while building skills in art education and contributing to community engaged practices.
