My opinion is that McCallum was voted in to get SkyTrain not police force... If the backlash at the public consults shows Surrey is not wanting the police force please cancel the transition.

Need to feel safe -Needs of the community at large -Smooth transition from RCMP to SPD -Hiring diverse officers that represent the community

No call too small. Just like delta. Right now the rcmp attitude is don't call at all. One officer told me they don't Patrol in Surrey! Get rid of them! No comment. Changing the Rcmp to municipal police force will not stop the crime. It is only about power and control.
