No need to create a new police force at the significant cost to taxpayers. Give the RCMP increased resources which is needed in our growing city. Use the mandate of the Public Safety Committee to create accountability with the RCMP.

No transition, use the funds to bolster the RCMP. All jurisdictions not using RCMP show rising crime, jurisdictions under RCMP show lowered crime rates. This transition is lunacy, and a waste of money.

Not necessarily the best option. I feel we need to evaluate the funding currently used to police Surrey. Are we going to spend the same amount if we get City police? Not sure why we need to have a surrey police force. How would they make anything better than what
