This is an expensive legacy piece for the Mayor, who has misled the public on costs. It will be @ least 35% more expensive than current policing. This is important for everyones protection This is long overdue. The citizens of Surrey elected the mayor for him to bring in the Surrey police force. This is not a democratic decision (replacing he RCMP) This is a manipulative invitation for(favouring and working only towards the city coumcil’s agenda )“community involvement” (terms of having a say) It is a waste of money and time. This is not consultation. We would like to see the report the mayor is hiding not only from his councillors but all residents. Then we would like to decide on RCMP or Civic force. Referendum Please.
