I think this whole idea will never work it’s going to cost way too much money ,it’s makes no sense I think we should keep the rcmp for the time being I think we should keep the RCMP How much will my taxes go up. Why are the citizens of Surrey being in the dark about details I think we should keep the RCMP. They are doing a decent job. They need to have more officers (which Mayor McCallum declined). We do not need the expense of having to train our own Surrey Police Department. I think we should keep the RCMP. This will cost too much and not be any further ahead. Keep what we have and give the best camp the tools the need. If you increase our taxes there will be no one left to police. local force = corruption I think we should prioritize improving the existing RCMP police over transitioning to a city police model. A name plate change does not solve the fundamental problem of short staff and will cost more money. I think you should scrap the idea completely as it is a waste of taxpayers' money. We have an RCMP that is our police force. It will be costly and see little benefit to create a new police force for a city the size of Surrey.

I totally disagree with city police force. Surrey is a huge geographical area, ratio of officers 2 population is inadequate, I don't feel safe with any 1 man (mayor) calling the shots on policing, it is a

recipe for corruption & bias. Love RCMP. I wanna because surrey has lots of crime’

I want a new department. Decrease crime.

I want the Mayor to drop his personal vendetta against the RCMP and cancel this ridiculous project. He lives in a fantasy land with the numbers he projects. The RCMP are doing a fine job.
