NEW & IMPROVED We are continually working to ensure our parks and trails are well designed and maintained to meet the needs of our growing community. This includes the creation of new parks, as well as the improvement of existing parks. Check out one of these recently opened or improved parks this winter: EDMUND PARK 15149 Edmund Drive | Newton Located in South Newton near the corner of 152 Street and Highway 10. The park includes a pathway connection between Edmund Drive and Panorama Drive and features a playground with natural wood elements, a play structure and seating.

Join our Stewardship Squad in caring for Surrey’s urban forest! Plant trees and shrubs, remove invasive plants, contribute to community science, and more. Urban Forestry Leaders 18yrs+ The Urban Forestry Leaders program is back! Join us to help lead other volunteers in hands-on stewardship projects, and host activities at environmental events! SPRING BREAK Opportunities! Youth Park Volunteer 13–18yrs Looking to earn volunteer hours over spring break? Get involved with park clean ups, nature or garden work parties, community science workshops and more! Tools and training provided. Check surrey.ca/parkprograms in February for the spring break schedule. Surrey Nature Centre – Day Camp Volunteer 14yrs+ Work closely with Nature Centre staff to develop your skills, knowledge and experience while assisting with our Nature Discovery day camps for 6–9 year olds. CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL
When you visit a Surrey park, make sure you pack out all your waste. This includes food wrappers, scraps, and packaging, including take-out containers and pizza boxes. PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT!
