POSITIVELY PARENTING WORKSHOP SERIES
0–5yrs Preregistration required. On site registration if spaces still available. Provides parents and children opportunities for free play and interaction with others in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where all can participate. Guided activities may include, parachute games, ride on toys, music and movement and active games. Experience a preschool setting with the flexibility of a drop-in program. Program may consist of routine activities such as circle time, storytelling, arts and exploration, free play, that promote individual creativity and imagination. Join the City of Surrey, in partnership with the Alexandra Neighbourhood House, for a free positive parenting series! Positively Parenting is an interactive and informative series for parents and caregivers of children 6 to 12 years old in partnership with Alexandra Neighbourhood House. This 4-part workshop takes place online and topics include: What’s Love Got To DoWith It? Relationship building and the connection to parenting. Why AreYou ActingThisWay? Looking at the meaning of challenging behaviour and our response. Listen to Me! Listening, understanding and communicating with your child. We Have A Problem… Problem-solving with your child.
