We have developed an Accessibility Action Plan to help guide the enhancement of services, programs, facilities, and resources, making them more accessible to all.

A supported social recreation program for children with disabilities. Activities include crafts, painting, games in the gymnasium and much more. Staff support provided (1 staff: 2/3 participants). A supported art program for adults with disabilities. Get creative with different art mediums: charcoal, paint, clay and more! Support is at 1:3 ratio. Support staff are asked to attend if one-to-one support is required. Surrey Art Gallery instructors are practicing artists and experienced art-educators. Youth on the Move Adapted A supported social recreation program for youth with disabilities with activities including crafts, games and social interaction. Longer sessions (four hours) may include visiting indoor and outdoor attractions around Metro Vancouver. Support is at a 1:3 ratio; one staff member to every three participants. Boccia Adapted Learn the basics of boccia through games and activities. Boccia is a Paralympic sport for persons with physical disabilities and is adapted to be played in a gym with custom balls and equipment. Program delivered in partnership with SportAbility. Wheelchair basketball is a fast-paced Paralympic sport for people of all abilities. This adapted sport is hosted in partnership with BCWheelchair Basketball Society.
