Girl Guides & Scouts Canada: Heritage Badge Program Historic Stewart Farm By appointment Heritage home skills feature making applesauce, churning butter, heritage craft, and site tour. Program adapted for Sparks, Brownies, Girl Guides, Cubs and Beavers. Sensory Sundays First Sunday of month from Feb–Dec 10am–12pm Museum of Surrey All ages Visit your museum in a sensory friendly environment. There will be reduced noise in the galleries, sensory kits for loan and a sensory friendly quiet room. History Talks: Speaker Series Wednesday, Feb 1, 15, Mar 1, 29 10:30am–11:15am Historic Stewart Farm 19yrs+ Join us in person every second Wednesday to delve into Surrey’s unique history. Over the course of four sessions, guest speakers will share the histories of Surrey’s communities and cultural spaces through texts, photographs, and conversation.

Historic Stewart Farm All ages Enjoy some old-fashioned family fun at the Farm! Drop-in to explore the historic farmhouse, watch heritage demonstrations, and make a traditional paper toy to take home. Monday, February 20 1pm–4pm Museum of Surrey All ages A whole day of family fun waits at your museum.Try your luck at playing board games and then partake in a scavenger hunt. Don’t forget to strike a pose with mascot Raj the Racoon.This drop-in will have simple activities for families to bond together. In addition to the board games, there will be the oversize games in the lobby.

Historic Stewart Farm 19yrs+ Bring friends (or meet new ones) and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee every second Wednesday while you play card or board games, do a puzzle or learn about our local history. A great way to relax before or after a walk through the nature trails of Elgin Heritage Park.

Museum of Surrey All ages What is heritage? What do heritage professionals do? Why do they do it? Explore the world of heritage and history! Visit booths, browse the book fair, watch performances, and attend lectures. Spring Break: Ocean Commotion Tuesday to Friday, March 14-17 & 21-24 1pm–4pm Museum of Surrey All ages Visit the Museum and learn all things about BC’s marine creatures. Work with Dr. Recycle from Junkology to create marine life crafts, complete a sea inspired scavenger hunt and then snack on seaweed.
