ESS On-Call Responder

The City-Wide Special Events volunteer program is ready for a new year of diverse celebrations! Some events to look forward to will be Party for the Planet, SPARK, Canada Day, Fusion Festival & the Tree Lighting Festival. If you’re interested in supporting our annual events in various ways, fill out an application today.

Are you Fluent in English with previous experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or simply interested in helping newcomers, immigrants, refugees practice their English-speaking skills? We’re looking for volunteers with strong communication and leadership skills to facilitate our in-person and online English Conversation Programs. Commitment of 1.5 hours per week for 6 sessions each season!

Heritage Volunteer Program

EDUCATION VOLUNTEER Want to be part of something BIG? As a person who loves kids and learning, Education volunteers work in a team environment to enhance tours and hands on programs to school children. No experience? No problem. After training with staff, volunteers deliver a ready-made program which includes a tour of the facility and hands on activities. We are currently recruiting

for both Museum of Surrey and Historic Stewart Farm locations.

Volunteer alongside our experienced instructors as they teach their students ice safety, balance, and various skating techniques and skills.You will gain knowledge and experience while assisting with participants during lesson activities and games.

Volunteer to help at one of themed special event public skates held on various dates throughout the year. You will have the opportunity to assist running various activities and games alongside our experienced staff.

Attention green thumbs! A secret garden circa 1900 awaits at Historic Stewart Farm in South Surrey! If tending a unique garden in one of the most beautiful settings in Surrey is appealing to you, please fill out an application form.
