FUTURE INITIATIVES

ENVIRONMENTAL  Continue implementation of the Greenways Plan together with Engineering including extending the Surrey Lake Greenway and the Nicomekl Greenway on the south shore of the Nicomekl River; and  Plant more than 4,000 shade trees and restore more than 8 hectares of degraded parkland to natural areas.  The Surrey Museum and Historic Stewart Farm will offer “FREE” admission through a sponsorship from the Friends of the Surrey Museum and Archives Society; and  Replacement of CLASS Recreation Management System by 2018 and provide ongoing support and continual upgrades after implementation.
