While some annual fluctuation is likely, it is expected that Surrey’s population growth rate will average 2.0% per year over the next five years. Surrey’s share of growth in the region in the next five years is projected to be approximately 25.78%, making it one of the fastest growing municipalities in Metro Vancouver.
