My name is Jack Hundial. I started and ended a successful 25 year career with the RCMP here in Surrey. Surrey continues to face some major challenges on crime, policing,

affordability, transportation and environmental stewardship. I am committed to working on these issues in a new Council. I have raised my family in Surrey and I currently work as an investigator for BC Hydro. I am also a local business owner with 5 employees. Like many of you, I believe it is time for a change with modern ideas where we need to focus on safety and have transparency in Council. I hope to keep and maintain the public trust with clear and transparent governance, holding the Mayor, Council and staff accountable with the creation of a fixed term Ethics Commissioner and Ombudsperson. Surrey needs a Council that listens to the public and works for the public.
