I’m proud to have served as a Surrey School Trustee since 2014. During my time as Trustee, I’ve served as Board Liaison on many committees, as well as on the BC School Trustees Association’s Professional Learning and Legislative

Committees. My wife and I have spent most of our lives in Surrey. We attended Surrey schools (met in high school), and now our son attends school here, as did our daughter. We have very strong ties to this community and its schools. Prior to serving as School Trustee, I was a District PAC board member for 9 years, including President and Co-President for 4+ years, and held numerous elementary and secondary PAC executive roles for 11 years. I would be honoured to serve as Surrey School Trustee for another 4 years, continuing to support our students, teachers, support staff, and administrators in making Surrey the great School District that it is.

My name is Aronjit, Lageri; and I am standing up to represent the Surrey School Board as a Trustee. I have a Bachelors degree from a Florida University and a certificate in Informatics and MRI technology. I have been a lecturer and presently working as a manager in medical imaging

division in Vancouver. I have mentored, coached, trained many students during my tenure as a Clinical Instructor. It is my passion to build strong foundation for students and cultivate leadership skills in them to take strong leads into their future. I believe that my education, experience and volunteerism greatly compliment above. Thank you.
