URBAN WOODWORKER Our woodworking studio is now open! Regardless of your previous experience, sign up for a class today. We are proud to partner withThe Urban Woodworker—an established Metro Vancouver leader in community-based woodworking education.They currently offer programs in North Vancouver (Lower Lonsdale) and with the City of Vancouver (Roundhouse Community Centre). DEVELOPING YOUTH MUSICIANS TWO PROGRAMS THIS FALL

Band-Aid is back, free, and in person. On October 15, join other youth musicians and industry professionals for this one-day intensive, focused on supporting musical youth talent.This year, Band-Aid will be hosted at Clayton Community Centre. For details, visit surrey.ca/bandaid . Basement 2 Stage is a new weeklyThursday night event, starting October 20. As a spin off from Band-Aid, this series develops youth skills to perform on stage. Learn how to setup speakers and mics for a live event. Build your confidence improvising with other musicians.Youth are encouraged to sign-up for all or as many sessions as possible. Presented in partnership with FUSIONpresents—a local organisation dedicated to developing musical talent. “IMAGINATION EXCHANGE” Come to the studio and play with art materials. Let your imagination run wild.This family- oriented art drop-in celebrates everyone's ability to be creative. This drop-in runs on Wednesdays, from 3:00-5:00pm, starting Sep 14. Registration is $3.75 per person. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian. Check drop-in schedules to register.
