Newton Come Explore
CHECK OUT YOUR Neighbourhood Mud Bay Park 13030 48 Avenue Whether you’re looking to break a sweat or unwind with a good book this fall, Mud Bay Park provides the perfect waterfront backdrop for your interests—featuring spectacular views of Boundary Bay. The park’s nature trail is nearly 3 kilometres long, with an option to continue along the Dyke Trail for a 20-kilometre shoreline excursion. The park’s tranquil setting also lends itself to activities like reading, sketching and painting. At high tide, seals and loons can be seen navigating the waves, while shorebirds scavenge the mudflats and eelgrass meadows for food at low tide.
