Surrey Civic Theatres are the Main Stage and Studio Theatre at Surrey Arts Centre, and Centre Stage at Surrey City Hall. MIDDLE RAGED Sketch Comedy Saturday, October 28 | 8pm Main Stage at Surrey Arts Centre | $29–$49 What better way to shake off the woes of the messy middle than with some proper belly laughs? MIDDLE RAGED is a hilarious sketch comedy show starring Geri Hall (This Hour Has 22 Minutes) and Gary Pearson (Corner Gas) that explores the ridiculous nature of life from 30 to 65, when the bloom is off the rose, but the thorns are sharper than ever. This show has performed for sold-out audiences across Canada and is sure to be full of relatable laughs! AUDIENCE ADVISORY: 19+ some mature themes and strong language.

Come and watch an unconventional bedroom comedy—the first of the Arts Club OnTour series! Set in two adjoining bedrooms on a modern Canadian farm, the play tackles sex, love, science, family, and the artificial insemination of turkeys. The Birds and the Bees is a laugh-out-loud comedy with brains…and a huge, honeyed heart. AUDIENCE ADVISORY: The Birds and the Bees contains partial nudity and depictions of sexuality. Theatrical devices such as water-based stage fog, and strobe lighting may occur. Programming, casting, dates, and prices are subject to change. Prices include taxes and facility fees. Get ready for takeoff! Join Surrey SPARK Stages and Surrey City Orchestra on this visual and sonic voyage! Journey to the outer reaches of the galaxy to the epic music of The Planets by Gustav Holst. Stretch the mind and marvel at the vastness of the universe through music, Indigenous storytelling, and projections of the very latest images from the Canadian Space Agency. Strap in and sit back and imagine the universe beyond our human experience here on earth!
Part workshop, part performance, part exploration! Yarn Around combines dance, music, and lots of yarn to share stories while creating connections across generations and cultures. Experience this unique blend of knitting, crocheting, weaving and stitching with dance, visual arts and music. Participants of all ages from babies to seniors will explore and discover alongside community mentors and artists from Foolish Operations Society.
