Surrey Police Consultation Data

The most important is that youth be saved from drugs . There’s only one road between surrey and delta but the whole neighbourhood changes .

The most important thing is transparency with our mayor and city councillors in regard to the cost of transition and continued cost of a surrey based force.

I would like my elected officials to stop spending money on this project before approve

The move from RCMP to SPD is ill-advised. This move will not tackle core issues related to criminality, organized crime, and gangs. I'm afraid this move will in fact waste taxpayer $$ in expensive PR campaigns, vehicle decals and new uniforms. The new force must be affordable!!!

The new police force should not raise our taxes. If taxes fo up NO SURREY PD

The new surrey police must understand that they represent state-sanctioned violence - they are not the only solution available. Resources should be directed to grassroots community efforts, not further violence and force. The new Surrey Police needs a strong relationship of mutual trust between police and the community it serves. It is critical to maintain public safety and effective policing. Decisions made locally not by Ottawa.

The number of active members (‘boots on the ground for GD/patrol’) & the cost to taxpayers.

the number of officers, having lower number of officers will negatively effect Surrey. Having officers that live in Surrey join the force will help them understand and connect with the community.

The number of police officers required to properly police the community and using a tried and true effective model that has been proven to work. More police = better.

The patch on the shoulder is not as important as the commitment of the heart

The police officers have to care about their community and want to work and live in Surrey. I need more patrols and do not like the slum lords who house mental health or addicts in a res neighbourhood children around The police should be out on the streets proactively dealing with criminals not reacting to crime after the fact. More officers on the street preventing crime and less officers in the detachment trying to solve crime.
