Surrey Police Consultation Data

I am not in agreement with a Surrey Police Force. What we need are MORE RCMP members. In addition to the start up costs for a new force, we also have to consider the pension for all these members......a cost that we will have to shoulder alone. I am not in favour of a city police department. I think the communication within the RCMP could be strengthened. It has improved several times over previous years and overall, I am happy with RCMP. I am opposed to a city police force.

I am not in favour of a new police force if property taxes are raised in any way I am not in favour of switching away from the RCMP. They are doing a fine job in Surrey. Just need more officers

I am not inn favour of a new Surrey Police Department.

I am opposed to the move because the Surrey police will be more expensive with less officers. I am also opposed because I don't want to lose the infrastructure of a National Police Force

I am quite disappointed by this 'survey' the questions are all worded in a way that imply that the current Surrey RCMP are doing none of these things...there isn't enough room here to say all of what I would like. This idea will not solve the problem

I am strongly against a Surrey Police program. Please provide the opportunity for the residents of Surrey to vote on This as it should not be a decision purely based on one terrible Mayor

I am strongly opposed to a Surrey Police Department - I am assuming it has not been considered of having 2 forces - RCMP for major crime and incidences (murder, drugs, assaults etc) and Surrey Police for traffic offences, minor crime. I am very much against replacing the RCMP with a surrey police force. I cannot see how it is cost effective and how it will be any better than the current RCMP. In my experience they are doing a fabulous job and are satisfying my priorities.

I believe in ou I believe it's the right direction that the city moved, and am expecting join the Surrey police department.
