MESSAGE FROM Mayor Brenda Locke As summer arrives and our city shines in all its glory, I am thrilled to share the exciting opportunities featured in this year’s Summer Recreation Guide. Summer is a time for adventure, connection, and creating cherished memories as a community. At the City of Surrey, we remain committed to inclusivity, with an array of programs designed for individuals of all abilities. Our adaptive sports and therapeutic recreation initiatives reflect our dedication to ensuring everyone feels welcome and included in our summer activities. From outdoor fitness classes to fun recreational events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. This summer, we are again offering priority registration for Surrey residents, making it easier than ever to find and sign up for the programs that matter most to you and your family. Whether it’s swimming, sports, or art, there’s no shortage of activities to explore. I also encourage our residents to visit one of our many free outdoor pools to beat the heat. Be sure to dive into this season’s Recreation Guide and discover exciting activities that will help you fully enjoy everything our city has to offer. Together, let’s embrace the warmth of summer and create a season filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit!
