DROP-IN Events Scavenger Hunt – Camping July 15–July 20 Operating Hours Explore the Museum in spirit of the wild outdoors! Explore the history of CloverdaleTown Centre and learn about the settlers who built the streets we walk on today. Not Quite All Night: Bugs & Bees 6–9yrs Friday, August 15 6pm–9pm Spend a bug filled evening at the Museum. Kids will learn about summer bugs and what they do for the environment, go on a insect scavenger hunt, have a pizza party and more.
Textile Dye Garden Open House Saturday, July 26 1pm–4pm Learn about local and Indigenous plants used for textiles and dyeing. Tour the garden and see demonstrations of spinning and weaving. Speaker Series – The History of Diwali 16yrs+ Wednesday, August 6 12pm–1pm Virtual Learn about the History of Diwali and take away some tips for your planning purposes. Whether you’re event planning or celebrating, learn more about this festival. INDIGENOUS HALL GALLERY Escaping Residential Schools May 29 to August 24 This Legacy of Hope traveling exhibit gives a voice to the children who escaped residential schools through personal accounts from family members. Learn about the origins of the Residential School System and the ongoing impacts today.

COMMUNITY TREASURES GALLERY Roots of Resilience: The Law Family Legacy May 13 to August 27 This exhibition tells the story of the Law family through the personal objects and photographs that they have preserved throughout the years. Travel with them through the decades, from HongTim’s store in NewWestminster to Lum Man and his family farm, here in the heart of Cloverdale.
FEATURE GALLERY Ocean Bound May 27 to September 7 Embark on a journey through watersheds to see how everyone’s actions impact the ocean. Interact with a watershed model, pilot a giant submersible, divert pollutants as they travel through storm water drains, and learn about all of the great projects that are helping to protect Surrey’s watershed environments.
