CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY

• Launched a new email subscription for public notices. This initiative offers a convenient way for the public to receive notifications directly via email about public hearings, elections, property taxes, land use changes, rezoning bylaws, and other key municipal decisions, thereby improving accessibility and efficiency

• Drove the expansion of a Continuous Improvement culture across the organization with our City-wide training initiatives and launching a Story Sharing campaign in the staff newsletter. These efforts significantly boosted attendee diversity and deepened staff knowledge, resulting in notable improvements in process efficiency, project delivery, and proactive change identification; and • Improvements made to the Council Procedure Bylaw included alternative public notice provisions and updates to align with new provincial legislation regarding holding a public hearing and when it is not authorized to hold a public hearing.

• Deliver the ongoing property acquisition requirements for the Parkland Acquisition Program.
