FUTURE INITIATIVES, GOALS & OBJECTIVES

INCLUSION

• Work with the City’s Engagement & Communications Division to undertake the 2026 Budget engagement process and solicit community feedback on budget priorities; • Support SCDC’s financial reporting functions as they develop City-owned surplus lands in ways that advance the City into a more modern and complete community and advance the City’s economic, social, physical and community objectives;

• Support the SHHS through ongoing financial reporting as they develop and execute the strategic and operational vision driven by the revitalized Board of Directors; and • Assist SPS with process improvement changes to ensure a smooth transition as they continue to expand business operations.

ECONOMIC PROSPERITY & LIVELIHOODS

Continue to improve the City’s supplier-centric process to enhance reconciliation and communication between the City and suppliers, ensuring value while improving on timely payments to suppliers for approved and appropriately charged services and goods;

• Continue to manage the City’s investment portfolio to maximize yield while maintaining safety and liquidity of investments; and • Continue to implement a process of demand planning for Procurement services by collaborating with business leads to forecast goods and services that they expect to procure.

EDUCATION & CULTURE

Continue to create a Finance Cost Recovery Guide for emergency event claims; and

• Explore D3M capabilities to develop graphical reports for City reserves.
