Services contracted for blood testing, nutrition and fitness.

Research conducted into new employee wellness applications that will be launch in 2026, including: • Peer Connect app • Fitness training app The evolving Wellness Program continues to be monitored to measure successes and areas for improvement.

2025 Metrics

Research conducted and Community Policing Plan developed and implemented in Districts 1, 3, and 5.

Expand Community Policing Plan and change management strategy as SPS assumes operational responsibility for additional police districts.

Body-worn camera pilot project launched in October 2025 with 20 cameras deployed into the Road Safety Section.

Four RPAS (drone) units were purchased, and training was completed for nine pilots.The inaugural launch of RPAS was done at the Vaisakhi Parade in April 2025 and then they were deployed into regular police operations in May 2025. Assessment phase is in progress.

DEMS training has been developed and is being delivered. Testing of new features continues, along with ongoing support and individualized training.
