• Delivered joint road safety education and engagement campaigns with our Vision Zero Surrey partners, with a particular focus on pedestrian safety, distracted driving, speeding and active school travel; • Completed Walking School Bus pilots at Lena Shaw Theresa Clarke Elementary Schools to help students travel to school safely and reduce traffic congestion near schools; and
Partnered with ICBC to provide pedestrian safety education & implement Walking Wednesdays at Bear Creek and Woodland Park Elementary to encourage safe walking and biking to school.

ECONOMIC PROSPERITY & LIVELIHOODS
In partnership with TransLink, completed the 10% Concept Design for the King George Boulevard Bus Rapid Transit project, connecting
• Implemented updated optimized signal timing along the King George Boulevard corridor through Newton, 108 Avenue through Guildford, 64 Avenue through Cloverdale and along both 140 Street and 96 Avenue; and • To improve traffic flow and reduce congestion, Traffic Management identifying the main causes of delays on Surrey roads: roadwork (about 63%), seasonal traffic changes (about 11%), external impacts such as Patullo Bridge congestion (about 10%), and traffic collisions (about 4%). Centre staff acted on 10,000 automated congestion alerts,

City Centre, Newton, and Semiahmoo Town Centre;
Developed a standardized congestion index using crowd sourced traffic data to identify congestion hotspots and prioritize intersection and corridor improvements; Revised off-street parking requirements for bicycle storage, industrial, self-storage, and eating establishments to address the City’s development approval process objectives;
