TRANSPORTATION

INFRASTRUCTURE

• Developed an integrated transportation plan for the New Surrey Hospital in Cloverdale; • Identified and installed bus shelters at the top 60 busiest bus locations; • Collaborated with the Province to finalize the preferred concept design of the Highway 99 interchange ramps at 24 Avenue and received Council endorsement; • Completed SkyTrain supportive works including protected cycling on 140 Street and 113 Park and Ride spaces at Green Timbers Way;

• To maintain roads in good condition, delivered approximately 56.4 lane-km of: local (9.1 lane-km), collector (8.8 lane-km), arterial (9.7 lane-km), and Major Road Network (“MRN”) (28.8 lane-km) road pavement rehabilitation for $10.53 million and as part of routine road maintenance, repaired 10,388 potholes, cleared 14,273 catch basins, and placed 90 linear km of crack seal, and 6.5 lane-km of pavement restoration;
